The purpose of this website is to provide meaningful content for beginning to intermediate students. If you are a beginner, start with the basics. At the bottom of the Navigation menu, you will find some technical help for using Chinese on your computer. There are many audio and video presentations within.

My hope is that these pages will gradually become a comprehensive online course for learning Chinese. Content will focus on two of the four language skills - reading du2.png and listening ting1.png, organized by level. Content will be both deep and broad enough that it will take you step by step from one level to the next by following the menus. Of course, you can also use these to help you learn how to speak shuo1.pngand write xie3.png; the knowledge base is the same.

I have tried to include all the relevant aspects of Chinese, and will continue to add more as they occur to me.

If you would like to contribute content to the site, please email me by clicking on the Discussion tab above. I would like to build up a corpus of texts at all levels.
